Dr. Priya Bayyapureddy, MD is a board certified Internal Medicine doctor with over 20 years of experience in primary care Internal Medicine.
Dr. Bayyapureddy completed her Internal Medicine residency at Emory University School of Medicine and internship at University of Tennessee College of Medicine at Chattanooga. She is a certified diplomate in Obesity Medicine by American Board of Obesity Medicine (ABOM) and is a member of American Society of Bariatric Physicians (ABSP) and International Association for Physicians in Aesthetic Medicine. She has been appointed as Civil Surgeon by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration services. She provided Occupational and Travel Medicine consulting services to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC-Atlanta).
During her career, Dr. Bayyapureddy has served as clinical faculty at Emory University School of Medicine; as Clinical Assistant Professor for Medical College of Georgia MD Program; and as Assistant Professor for Clinical Preceptor track for Mercer University school of Medicine.
She has been recognized as "Leading Physician of The World" by the International Association of Internists. Dr. Bayyapureddy has been honored with Patients' Choice and Most Compassionate Doctor awards for several years.
