Frequently Asked Questions About Our Practice

Yes, we will be glad to give you results.

We make lab results available for you online using patient portal or our Mobile APP.

In Patient Portal: Recent Lab results will be initially available in Visit Summary and PHR section on the Patient Portal. It will eventually be available in Labs / Diagnostic Reports of Patient Portal as well.

We can also make them available via Fax or pick up at our location. Please contact us for details.

You can usually get appointment on the same day.
Usually 15 to 20 minutes.
For insured patients we collect normal Physician office (Primary Care) standard co-pay for any visit. We do not collect Urgent Care co-pays that are usually high and we do not charge any convenience fee for weekend and evening hours like other doctor’s offices. We keep it simple and provide excellent medical care at lowest cost to you.
You should have one once a year, every year.
Our Windermere Medical Cumming office is open 6 days week. Our Canton Primary Care office, Windermere Medical Habersham locations are open 5 days a week.
We provide Primary Care and Urgent Care services for all individuals and families.

We are affiliated with Northside Hospital and part of its Primary Care Services. Patients can pay their bill online. Our Northside billing office can be reached at (678) 223-7932 Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. Patients can also use Northside Hospital Physician on-line BillPay service to make payments or communicate with billing staff about billing concerns

As an affiliate of Northside Hospital, Inc. we are committed to fulfilling Northside’s charitable mission as a health care provider. Uninsured, underinsured and Medically Indigent Patients having limited or inadequate resources to pay for Medically Necessary Services rendered at a our Practice may be eligible for full or partial Financial Assistance through Northside’s Physician Practice Financial Assistance Program “PPFAP”. Application can be downloaded by clicking on this link. Please complete this application and mail it to address listed in this application.
It is the policy of our office to not phone in ANY controlled substance to your pharmacy. Maintenance medications will not be phoned in unless you have been seen in this office in the last six Months. Please allow 2-3 business days for any maintenance medications to be refilled upon notification in this office. Our goal is to provide the best medical care to meet your needs and this policy is in place to adhere to the high medical care standards we strive to provide.
It is the policy of this office to charge a $20.00+ fee for each occurrence of any medical forms needing to be completed. Fee is based on number of pages and time it takes to complete the specific form. (i.e. disability forms, physical forms, insurance forms, etc.)

Each time a patient misses an appointment without providing proper notice, another patient is prevented from receiving care. Therefore, Windermere Medical Group reserves the right to charge a fee of $30.00 for all Established Patient missed appointments (no shows) and Established patient appointments which, absent a compelling reason, are not cancelled with a 24-hour advance notice.

For New patients: Our Late Cancellation fee is $30 for New Patient appointment that is cancelled within 48 hours from appointment time. “No Show” Fee of $30 will also apply new patient appointments as well.

No Show or Late Cancellation fees will be billed to the patient. This fee is not covered by insurance, and must be paid prior to your next appointment. Multiple no shows in any 12 month period may result in termination from our practice.
